Hi, I’m Hannah

I explore the connection between art, science, and the mind.

I recently graduated from Northwestern University where I studied Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Engineering. Since graduating, I moved to London where I studied 3D animation, sculpture, and watercolor. I am currently studying motion design and stone carving, while working as a freelance artist and math tutor.

I explore the connection between art, science, and the the mind. Across each area, I have found that each field brings me back to the other. This leads me to believe the boundaries between these fields are not fixed. I often come back to the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I treat each project like a puzzle. Art is the picture on the box. Cognitive Science sorts the pieces. Design fits each piece together to create the image. I think the best way to find these puzzles is by asking questions - particularly questions that lead to more questions.
